Greenpoint
Greenpoint has managed to retain much of its old world charm while welcoming a new generation of hipsters into its ranks. Flea markets, bars, and upscale eateries sit next to family owned businesses and some of the best Polish food in the city.

Greenpoint is what Williamsburg once was before it became the “Williamsburg” we all know. The area is home to trendy boutiques and cafes, some of the best pizza in the city, and truly authentic Polish cuisine. Unlike many other areas in New York, Greenpoint has been able to retain its charm and cool despite gentrification. The area also offers some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline, which is about as close as the trendy, coffee-loving locals are willing to get. In recent years, Greenpoint has become an increasingly popular filming location for TV crews, and has been featured on a number of shows including Master of None, Girls, and The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.
